(Formally Sol Beach House Ibiza)
OVERVIEW:
When you finally make it out of the group chat and on a plane with the girls – where do you go? Ibiza of course! After what feels like an eternity, me and my besties finally found dates that aligned and decided that a long weekend on the white isle was overdue and so we headed to Ibiza for some sun, chilling and a little bit of a party! We picked to stay at the Sol Beach House Ibiza (now branded as Melia Ibiza), which is a Melia chain hotel located in Santa Eulària, located a 30 drive from the airport. And even better for a girls trip… its Adults only! We all love our little ones dearly, but the prospect of a chilled child free resort was just too good to pass up!
ROOMS:
The 3 of us stayed in 2 interconnecting sea view rooms, which meant we had plenty of rooms and 2 bathrooms, which is always a bonus! We also had the most amazing sea view, and one night we were lucky enough to witness a beautiful thunder storm out across the Mediterranean!
Both rooms had king size beds and Ritual branded toiletries which can be found across lots of the Melia resorts and smell divine!

POOLS:
The main pool is large with plenty of sun beds and also cabanas / day beds which can be hired for an extra change. Despite being on the party isle, the whole vibe of the hotel including the pool areas were super chilled and during certain parts of the day they also have a live DJ playing chilled out house music to really top off the atmosphere.
There is also a rooftop pool and bar which has stunning sea views across the bay and is perfect for those sundowner cocktails.
FOOD:
The main restaurant is buffet style and there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is seating both inside and outside the restaurant and a bar service is also available although their is free flowing Cava available inside from the buffet!
Out the back of the hotel, overlooking the sea, there is a cocktail bar and a la carte restaurant (now called Cape Nao) where me and the girls shared the most epic Caesar salad, Buffalo Salad and Truffle fries, all washed down with a bottle of lovely bottle of Spanish fizz. The food here was superb and the view is just perfect.
We opted for half board as the plan was to have breakfast, hit the day clubs and then head back to the hotel for dinner, but in reality we ended up staying out later so only managed one evening meal in the hotel, but given the minimal difference in price, this was still well worth it.
AGENT TIPS:
This is a resort suited for clients looking for a more chilled out side of Ibiza, so perfect for a relaxing getaway for couples or groups of friends, however the main nightlife areas are about a 30 min taxi ride away so absolutely great for those who want a bit of both!
