Cooks Club Corfu – Boutique Adults Only!

When the stars (and diaries) aligned for me and my sisters, an adults only, all inclusive, chilled boutique resort for some major quality time was the brief.

The answer – Cooks Club Corfu

So if this sounds like a bit of you or your client, then read on for all the essential info!

Cooks Club Corfu is located in the Gouvia area of Corfu, a quick 20 minute transfer from the airport and a short walk tot he beach. It operates a ‘feel free’ all inclusive concept and focuses on chilled out, bohemian vibes alongside a sprinkle of luxe.

ROOMS:

There a 7 different room types across the resort, from the entry level garden view rooms sleeping 2, swim up rooms, up to the premium double with a private pool.

We stayed in a panoramic comfort room, which comfortably sleeps 3 and had lush views of the main pool and surrounding mountains. We had a kingside bed and a single, alongside a walk in shower, mini bar (not stocked sadly), fluffy bathrobes, slippers, a safe and in room iron. There was also a selection of toiletries and pool towels which can be exchanged each day.

FOOD AND DRINK:

The ‘feel free’ all inclusive concept covers a mix of street food, traditional greek cuisine and combines buffet options alongside a la carte main courses. Breakfast was buffet style in the main restaurant (Cantina) and there was plenty of choice of hot and cold options and a self serve coffee machine. Lunch could be taken in the main restaurant, with a salad bar, breads and dips alongside a la carte main dishes which were ordered via the resort app. There is also a traditional pizza oven and freshly made pizzas can be ordered to your table.

Down by the poolside there was also a street food snack bar (Campiello), again made to order from a menu and this was our favourite for lunch.

Dinner in the main restaurant, operates the same buffet side dishes alongside a la carte menu options as lunch, but with a bigger menu to choose from. The ‘sheep on a skewer’ was incredible, despite the description! There are also 2 fully a la carte dining options for dinner, back at the Campiello where traditional greek dishes are served, and a 1 visit here is included per stay.

The premium option for dinner is definitely the Smoke Grill and although this is an extra change if you want to eat off the premium menu, is absolutely worth it. It’s perched up behind the main hotel building overlooking the infinity pool, and the food was out of this world.

FACILITIES:

The resort is relatively small, so perfect for those looking for a relaxed and boutique style get away, however the resort has a a few facilities available. There is an onsite spa which has an extensive treatment menu of facials and massages, an onsite shop and a small elevated gym that gives tree house vibes which is next to the yoga pavilion.

Entertainment wise, the main bar next to reception brings live music and party DJs in the evenings, ranging from chilled acoustics through to fill on mini nightclub vibes!

FINAL THOUGHTS

We had a great stay at Cooks Club Corfu, and would definitely not hesitate to return, although would opt for earlier in the season to try and get a bit more sunshine and a little less rain!!
